Kugler Kandestin is proud to announce that two of its partners, Arthur J. Wechsler and Alexandre Brosseau-Wery, recently obtained for their clients the largest medical malpractice award ever rendered by a Canadian court.

On November 28, 2024, Madame Justice Marie-Claude Lalande of the Superior Court of Québec rendered judgment, awarding an unprecedented amount of over $28 million in capital and interest to the family of a young child who suffered catastrophic injuries as a result of a delay in delivery.
